We could have been bought by MSN.
Considering MSN is Microsoft, yeah that would have been bad.
That was the joke.
I haven’t seen anyone make this joke/observation. It would have been interesting to see where things would have gone. Maybe Bing would finally get some users to stick around!

I'm actually stoked about the Yahoo purchase.
I highly doubt they’ll change much initially, and I’m hoping they bring in ad revenue. So what if every 20 posts on the blog roll is an add. I’d rather see an ad than not see Tumblr at all. Also, I’m hoping we can start having ads on our actual blog pages if we so choose. I get you can already, but they’ll delete your blog if they find out. This opens up a whole new...

Had to look this up, and it’s interesting… well, sort of.
Corn meant grain. Specifically the highest growing grain crop of a region… The only crop growing was Maize, so it was America’s “corn”.

I’m sorry, I grew up in Belgium, the country of a plethora of excellent beers, so I know my beers and I’m a tad picky about what I consider a good beer…

If you offend someone and then do try to reach out to understand why, THAT’S GREAT. Very well done doing what you should do. But don’t expect them to owe you an education or explanation on how you fucked up. That’s not that persons job to first suffer your insults/behavior and then have to EXPLAIN TO YOU and TEACH YOU how to be a decent person.
Maybe crowdsource that shit.
