“The whole point of satire or parody is for people to realize and appreciate the...”
– The Stealth Blogger   (via newsweek) Isn’t the point of The Onion that everything they do is satire. That being said, it wasn’t a good joke, but it’s obvious that if The Onion is the only person covering it then it’s nothing to worry about.  Quit worrying about The Onion...

Its chill, bro.: New Record For The Marathon!  →
fitvillains: This is CRAZY! Patrick Makau of Kenya shaved 21 seconds off the previous record, by running the 26.2 mile Berlin Marathon in 2 hours, 3 minutes & 38 seconds! One hundred years ago, the record was just under 2 hours 40 minutes. In a century, we’ve shaved off about 37… I’m kinda surprised the record isn’t under 2 hours by now. 100 years ago these dudes had...

Mark Zuckerberg, Sweet, Sweet Mark Zuckerberg,... →
newsweek: He started out by slaughtering a pig, goat and chicken. Now the Silicon Valley billionaire has expanded his menu. Zuckerberg has learned to hunt, according to people close to him. He got a hunting license and recently shot and killed a bison. That was Fortune. Seems Business Insider suspected as much days ago. Why is this news? Unless you are saying good job I don’t think...

I would like to say...
…whenever I use “hahahaha” I’m mostly never physically laughing. I’ll think it’s funny in my head, so I put “hahahaha”. I just want you guys to know I don’t spend my day physically loling in my room like a crazy person.

– An excerpt from George Harrison’s diary on January 10th, 1969—the day he left the Beatles. (via newsweek) This is why George is my second favorite member of The Beatles. Interesting that he didn’t capitalize the “t” in “the”. “the” is a funny looking word...

smashitdead: I’ve been contemplating this for a while and I figured this honest attempt couldn’t hurt. Five years ago I met Franco. Ever since then, my life has not been the same. I found my best friend, my confidant and the love of my life. Five years of being absolutely head-over-heels for him has been… I figure this deserves a reblog. It’s kinda sweet and all. Now me being me...

If I was in NYC I'd be down on Wall Street!
America is awesome for the most part, and part of it’s awesomeness is due to it being so damn big. Really hard to be apart of anything if you’re outside of metro NYC/DC. Good luck errybody!

WHO DAT?
I really wish I got NFL Sunday Ticket/lived within a couple miles of place that has it.  Watching a game via lines and dashes on a cartoon field just isn’t the same, haha.  EDIT: By the time I finish watching the TD/2PC on NFL.com the Texans had scored again. Crazy stuff.

Tonight $ :( Football UFC
Initially went to B-Dubs to watch Mizzou vs. OU, but it was packed because of a UFC fight. Decided to try out Applebee’s. The beers were a buck or two more, and I ended up spending $30 on food and drinks. I get it’s not a lot to most people, but I like getting a good value. I can understand why places like Applebee’s don’t actually put their prices on the beer/wine/liquor...

2000 Saints vs. Rams Wildcard Playoff My first Saints game! Also, the Saints first ever NFL Playoff victory! One of the greatest games in Saints history, and extremely memorable by most football fans. Many remember it as the game where Az Hakim muffed the punt in the last few minutes of the Rams attempted comeback. Thank you Brian Milne for picking up that fumble! “There is a god after...

Goodnight
Just watched Rushmore. I’ve realized that I don’t tend to hang out with people that take pictures. I’ll have to change that at some point while I’m rocking my beard. Goodnight everyone.

hausofjamey: For everything you have done for me Paws up forever R.I.P.  Bullying is a problem. For many children/teens it is a daily issue. The bullies should be blamed, but so should the adults that let these things happen. Our educators need to realize that a school needs to be a bully free zone that every LGBT, over weight, skinny, handicapped, odd ball, etc. should feel safe in.

Fab.com
Invite URL http://fab.com/f7c2e1  It’s a really cool shopping site that has new items from indie companies every day. I think some of you guys and girls would enjoy some of the interesting products they make available. Oh, everything they sell is on sale, and usually above 30%. Pretty cool stuff.

“By the time I feed my family, I have maybe $400,000 left over.”
– Rep. John Fleming (R-LA), in an interview on MSNBC, on why as a small business owner he can’t afford a tax increase. (via) Ugh. Look, obviously in principle I totally agree with the balanced taxation argument. But this quote is taken wildly out of context. Watch the video clip. He was saying that...

– Looks like someone is jealous, haha. (by haha I mean I’m kinda kidding around btw.) Playboy is something that is really interesting. It’s most of the normal things in an American guys head. Pretty women, some jokes, some sports, a couple interesting stories, and commercialism.  I...
