Daydream Nation
Kat Dennings doing Kat Dennings. I guess it’s better than Zoe Deschanel doing Zoe Deschanel.
Overly dramatic, but makes you think of different feelings.
Fairly predictable, but enough Shyamalaning for a non-Shyamalan film to keep it good.

My thoughts on high school hahaha

I finally saw The Hunger Games… I like the story/acting, but don’t get why it was filmed in such a terrible manner. It’s like Cloverfield, The Syfy Channel, and Fight Club had a baby. I think Gary Ross and Tom Stern assumed that since it is a teen scifi that they could get away with being a bit crazy with the camera work. Take the same plot and setting with George Lucas/Steven Spielberg from the 70’s-80’s and ILM, and this could have been a masterpiece.
Korova Milk Bar: A Clockwork Orange
I purchased this film last week, and I really enjoyed it. I’d never seen it, but I’m glad I waited until I was 24. I think if I would have seen this in high school I might have got a little too creative with my life style haha. I’ve already been a fan of the “ultra-violent”, but I never knew how far it could go!
Guys. The Sun Theatre in Williamston. Their Indiegogo campaign only has hours left.
Help a small-town movie theater in Michigan stay open. They’re just over halfway to their goal and if even a percentage of you threw in ten bucks or so, it’d help.
It’s where I learned to love movies growing up. It’s a great theater. It’s been around for decades. It’s not a chain. I’ve put my dough where my mouth is. Just think about passing a few over, if you had a similar theater you’ve loved and lost in the past.
Thanks,

Denis Medry - Batman Rockabilly Universe
I already posted about Denis Medry’sBatman and Spidey Rockabilly universe, I know, but he designed more awesome sketches, and I had to share it !
Je sais que j’ai déjà posté sur les Spidey et Batman Rockabilly de Denis Medry, mais le dessinateur Italien a récemment fait d’autres croquis, que je ne pouvais que vous faire partager !
I love Batman, but never got into the comics that were this style. I was always a TV/Movie fan, and my gf and I did The Joker/Harley Quinn in this style two years ago. I’m glad some other people out there are into a semi realistic semi Sin City version of Batman!
I was never a huge Harry Potter fan. I read about half the books, never considered them one of my favorites, nor the movies.
But I feel like I can always put one of the movies on and be perfectly content watching it or keeping it on in the background.
If you know what I mean
I don’t know
Ignore me.
I’m the same way. I borrowed on of the books from my sis. Started reading from the middle of the book, and then set it on the floor. She got pissed, and that was the end of me and the Harry Potter books.

What a mystery this world, one day you love them and the next day you want to kill them a thousand times over.

It was the natural order of things — all things must die.
The Fall
You mos def gotta pay attention to all the details with this film. It’s a hair tiring to watch, but it is quite beautifully designed and shot.
