Sheldon Richardson in the First Round!
Mizzou has another year with a player drafted in the first round! Only behind Alabama and USC over the last 5 years!
Mizzou has 6… Alabama has 14!, USC has… 5… Mizzou has 6! Mizzou is now ahead of USC in first round draft choices since 2009. That’s amazing. Of course not every first rounder ends up being the best player, but it’s still amazing to see!
Florida sits at 7 in 5 years after this most recent draft, so Mizzou hasn’t moved up any. LSU also has 6 after this years draft. SEC holds the top four spots!*
*All the players besides Sheldon Richardson came from the Big XII.
I Made a List of the Ten Whitest QB’s in the NFL
I found it in my notes as I was trying to write a paper, which leade me to believe the class I made it in was one in which I was profoundly bored. (Nobody get offended) Here it is:
10. Jay Cutler
09. Andrew Luck
08. Brandon Weeden
07. Christian Ponder
06. Tom Brady
05. Ryan Fitzpatrick
04. Tony Romo
03. Peyton Manning
02. Eli Manning
01. Joe Flacco
Hahahaha I think I’d have Andrew Luck closer to #1, and as much as I don’t care for the Pats I’d drop Brady to the end of the list if not off of the top ten.
How I felt after knowing the Falcons lost the chance to play in the Super Bowl in the Superdome

Super Harbaugh Bowl!!!
FFL
I’m currently in the championship round. I say round because the guy that setup this league made it a two week combo for the first round and championship game. I guess that’s okay… I mean, I’m doing well so I can’t complain! I managed to destroy the #1 guy in the league two weekends ago, and he didn’t even bother to swap out guys for the second week since I had a 30 point lead on him!
My team’s players (outside of the flex category) average rank is 9.25, and it seems Drew Brees has got things working again. I do wonder if he’ll end up having some surgery in the offseason because he’s been a little off which is abnormal for him. Maybe it’s a psyche thing since he’s been carrying the team. Either way, WHO DAT? Geaux Brees, Graham, Sproles, and the rest of the Saints!
If I win I’m going to try and find a local jeweler(artisan/hipster) to make a championship ring a la Ruxin from The League! I figure that shouldn’t cost too much. Maybe repurpose an old silver ring(not that I have any jewelry), maybe from the Salvation Army or a pawn shop.
The Last Time Drew Brees Had 7 INT’s In 2 Games?
Never.
It’s never happened. I doubt it will ever happen again… unless he throws two INT’s next week :(.
That being said, I think next week we’ll see a rested Brees that will be highly motivated to take advantage of the 25th ranked pass defense that is accompanied by an average rushing defense in the New York Giants.
Who Dat? Not the Giants!
The Death of Breesus
Last night Drew Brees threw five interceptions. Over the past two weeks he has single-handedly ended the Saints’ season, along the way committing the cardinal sin of personally allowing Atlanta’s coronation, propelling the Falcons along what now seems like a predestined trajectory into the Superdome this February.
What is that feeling you have when your hero and erstwhile leader shows he isn’t made of the stuff you thought he was?
Feels kind of like the proverbial knife in the back. Feels a lot like betrayal.
(Before you read this I’d like to point out I’m an overly optimistic guy in this situation, and how often does Drew Brees throw 7 INT over a two game period?)
This guy is probably right, but I feel we’ve still got a shot for the wildcard. We are playing 4 teams that are beatable, and the NFL as a whole hasn’t had too many teams throw down dominant beat downs. While we dropped in the standings this week I feel that there is a good chance all of the other wild card teams fighting for the 6th spot will drop with us this week.
I’m thinking it will come down to NOLA/DALLAS/DC. If Brees returns to his Breesus ways over the next four games it will come down to a Sunday afternoon game between DC & Dallas to decide out fate. I’ll be a Cowboy’s fan that day.
I just hope the Rams don’t run the table and sneak in with that tie…

I guess the way I see it the Chiefs lead the game for brief moment. Those guys are bigger Chiefs fans than I’ll ever be, so I really don’t get why they wanted to defend the idea of them being the worst team in 83 years. I mean, according to the rules the game ends automatically when a team scores in OT, but the human element does cause a second or two to tick off the clock. facebook, so much fun.
How the Chargers’ last four drives ended.
Punt.
Punt.
Interception.
Sack/fumble.
Do you believe in Spags?
Four drives out of a game I do.

This guy won tonight. Tony Romo, you are worse than this!
