My Twinkie Story

Last fall I was feeling kind of down because my gf told me she didn’t want me to come visit her at school. I had been up since 4:00 AM, and texted my buddy to come over whenever he got up, and that we should get drunk. Around 9 AM he comes over, and we made our way to Wal*Mart to pick up some mixer/snacks. I got some Diet Coke, Star Wars fruit snacks, and chocolate creme filled Twinkies. Those Twinkies were awesome, and I would go as far to say they were better than regular Twinkies. That being said, I’m a Ding Dong/chocolate fan. My buddy saved up all of his R2-D2 snacks since they were blue, and blue flavored fruits snacks are bomb-ass. We were sitting on a balcony, and talking about a myriad of things. How to get famous, how to make money, bitches, etc. My buddy decided I should break his arm while he filmed it… Luckily for him I held my alcohol better than him that morning, and decided it would be a bad idea. Around noon we went downstairs from the balcony we had been drinking on to relieve ourselves, and then my buddy snuck back upstairs while I was checking out my new fish tank. He managed to chug the remainder of a fresh bottle of scotch that I brought upstairs in the few moments I didn’t have my eyes on him! I found him laying back in his seat, and started to talk to him. He managed to vomit on himself right infront of me, but it bounced off of him! Crazy stuff, right! When he vomited he flung his fruit snacks, and in a drunken haze managed to pick every last one of them up. Lucky for him… and our friend that is coming over none of the fruit snacks hit the vomit. They were just regular dirty. When my other friend showed up he was offered a handful of blue R2-D2 fruit snacks. He quickly snatched them up since blue fruit snacks are bomb-ass as mentioned before. He said they didn’t seem quite right as I was about to mention to him they were on a somewhat dirty balcony in the vicinity of vomit. I then offered him a chocolate filed Twinkie to cleanse his pallet, and he found them to be quite delicious as well. 

In 3 hours we went through a bottle of rum and scotch each, a box of chocolate creme filled Twinkies, and a box of Star Wars fruit snacks. Good times brought on by a lame situation.

When I say I’ll have a beer or two it means buying shots, and getting drunk! 

Can’t wait to work tomorrow!!! :( haha, but really :(

Just got back from STL!

My weekend up there was pretty nice. Friday I had some sushi with my friend Sette(short for Lysette) and her bf. He’s boring, but it was nice to see her again. Then my buddy brought home a bunch of jambalaya from a place called The Gumbo Pot. It was really good, and reminded me of NOLA. The only down side was I probably had a whole pound of rice in me, so it stuffed me up. We then went to the driving range and had some beers before heading to the grocery store. I was still able to get drunk, but had to take a break since I didn’t want to vomm everywhere, haha. We killed a bottle of Glenmorangie Scotch! It was super smooth, and it’s just something we do. Not always the same brand, but always some Scotch! He had the very first NOW CD, it was glorious, haha.

Saturday we chilled, and then headed to the mall since I had a coupon for H&M. I was bummed to find out that they usually never got the cool stuff in STL, and only the big stores in Chicago/NY got the most interesting items from the collection. I still got a few shirts, but was kinda bummed. The manager was super hot, so I’ll probably go back to that location again, haha kinda creepin. After shopping we went to his old place of work, Villa Farotto, and got some decent panini. After dinner we went to the bar section, and got some Goose Island Matilda… for free! The bartenders were pretty cool, but it seemed like everyone there hated at least one person they worked with… I guess every job is like that haha. Also met a girl who knew my old roommate, and made out with his sister. Good times. On the way out we got two free pizzas, and made our way home. Once we got back to his place we went through a bunch of different craft beer, watched hockey, and then some movies. 

Pretty lazy Sunday morning just hanging and watching movies until I figured it was time to head out. I nearly stayed another day, but didn’t want to find myself there for an entire week hahaha!

Welp, Saints lost. It’s gonna be a Scotch night.

At this point I’m rooting for the 49’ers and the Fighting Tebow’s!

Drunk

Halloween was great, but I didn’t bring my camera and nobody else did either. I was dressed as Richie Tenenbaum aka The F-Baum. 

Got wasted with my Scotch Brother at a friend of his party. Thanks Dalwhinnie 15! 

Speeding Ticket

Doing ten over trying to find the Metro Link in STL last night. So lame, but the officer did help me find the station. Glad I have $85 burning a hole in my wallet, haha. I did meet a new friend last night, so at this point it might have been worth it. 

I also would have got my buddy a cheaper bottle of Scotch had I known this would happen, haha.
