St. Michael’s Catholic Church

One of the more interesting church buildings in Fredericktown, MO. The parish predates Fredericktown when French settlers came to the Ozark foothills to mine galena, a lead ore. The church’s current site only dates back to the early 1900’s, but early French settlers started mining in the early 1700’s predating the settlements in Ste. Genevieve, MO by about 30 years.

I’ve started a new blog. It’s just about my walks through w/e city I happen to be in. Should have a couple posts every day.

The Proclaimers - “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)”

Music videos of the late 80’s/early 90’s were really something. Good song, but I’m wondering if it’s okay if I ride my bike instead of walk?
