Be the Best Man at the Dinner Party
Your foodie friend is having people over, but when you ask what you can do to help, he says, “Nothing.” That’s a lie. From predinner drinks to pro-level prep work, here’s a ten-step guide to being a three-star dinner-party sous-chef.
Very cool guide, and I love the idea of staying away from the range unless asked. If only everyone followed GQ!
Party Night
Started off with a bonfire. It was a lot of fun. Sadly the only chick that was single was also wasted or on some pills. We thought pills at first, but then after talking to her it just seemed like she might not drink all that often. Either way, it was lame she was so hammered, haha. I myself also had a bit to drink, and some free shots. Around 12AM me and a buddy left to go to another party, and do some grilling. We also had a bonfire going, and by now I was mos def wasted and accepted some of my friends hydrocodone. The last time I did this was a few years ago and ended up throwing up in the morning! Guess what? I threw up this morning… All over the right side of his car! It was very steaky, and according to my buddy it didn’t smell good. I just wonder when does vomit smell good? Well that’s probably the last time I do anything with pills. It’s never been something I’ve been into, and it tends to just make me sick if I’m in a party scenario.
I submitted this one… I actually have a dgp I needed to submit!( Submitted By )
Hahahahahahahaha, this happened to my old roommates gf. So fucking funny. You just gotta let it flow like you’re a mythical vomit breathing dragon!

Love my new Actual Pain Gore Tiger sweatshirt. Rockin it tonight for the party.
The gore and the beauty combined is quite intoxicating.
Going to Nashville tomorrow/this morning!
Hit me up with any suggestions or if you wish to party!
My tongue tingles and I’m sleeping in socks.
I’m drunk… again.
My Weekend Trip to STL
Was great to get away from work for a little while. It actually started on Wednesday, but I didn’t do much during the week.
I live about 90 miles south of STL, and was picking my buddy Bryce up from work. Listened to baseball on the radio for the first time in 6 years. The Cards won, but I wish I could have watched the game. It was worth it though because Bryce is the assistant manager at a frozen custard place. I got something with chocolate/vanilla ice cream and raspberries/strawberries/pecans. Delicious stuff. We also snagged some fat ice cream sandwiches. All fo free!
We then went to the local grocery store to pick up some booze. I bought a bottle of Johnnie Walker Black and he picked up a 12 pack of Sam Adams that had 6 different beers in it. The Bonfire Rauchbier was incredible. It’s smells smokey, and has smoked pork/salmon flavors running through it. The Johnnie Walker Black wasn’t bad, but less interesting than some other Scotches I’ve had. We finished the beers and Scotch during the party the next night.
The next day(Saturday) we had a good ole fashioned bro day. Driving range, buying suits at Goodwill for the CEOs and Office Hoes party we were throwing that night, and watching some football at St. Louis Sports Zone(I only mention it by name because the service was good and the waitresses were all fairly attractive). It was Bryce’s roommates b-day party, and it was sounding like it was gonna be huge. It wasn’t bad, but given that I went to state school I was slightly disappointed by the guy to girl ratio. All-in-all it was fun and had lots of good conversation, and I met a dude who has a video/audio production company that I might work with in the future.
Today(Sunday) was pretty slow. Bryce slept for quite a while, and was pretty hung over. I had planned to watch the Saints game, but I figured they’d win by a large margin(it was actually close, and wish I would have seen the comeback win.). We finally headed out around 3 PM and realized the Cards were playing since I had ESPN radio on. We decided to go back to St. Louis Sports Zone specifically because the attractive waitresses. The food was good, the Busch was cold, and our waitress was really cool. She was actually bummed when I told her we weren’t going to be back for the rest of the Cards games since I was from out of town and my buddy will be working. The Cards lost, but the weekend was still full of good times.
Now I’m back home. I stopped by work to check my schedule and they didn’t even have one for tomorrow, so I guess I’m not going in, ha!
Some real fun this weekend!
Going up to STL(St. Louis) and going to enjoy the finer things in life… like over priced beers with friends. I’ll also be doing some internet radio on Sunday. It’s almost cool until you realize there are more hosts than listeners :(
