Skipping Work Today!
I’ve got a headache and don’t feel like answering the phone for almost 9hrs.
Also, I plan on buying some veggies at the store, and possibly calling my mechanic who “fixed” my A/C and it still doesn’t blow cold!
this episode makes me cry every time i watch it.
Kind of reminds me of work today. I found out that my trainer is quitting or did actually quit yesterday. Never got a chance to say goodbye, and the last thing I said to him was “Hey Jonathan. Suck it.”.

Not going to work today!
Not sure I need an exclamation point since I’m feeling(have been since last night) upset in the stomach. We had a guy literally vomit in our training room yesterday, and I’d much rather vomit at home if it gets to that.
Work… balls.
So a case manager called and asked if I could work 6am-6pm today while I was on my way to work last night at 6pm. What she meant to ask was if I could stay till 6am, and then come back the next day at 2pm. Don’t worry, I made sure she feels like a dumbass, and I’m not going in until 6pm tonight. Can’t wait to just be adventuring/going back to school.

I see this being a problem if you are a single parent. That being said, if you are a single parent and working a low paying job then there are programs available at this time to help with that. My buddies cousin earns minimum wage, but after all the help she receives she’s able to live a life as if she was earning $30,000/year. Not that she has that much cash, but her expenses for food and child care are almost nothing.
Now, outside of the single parents there is no need for any one person to have a two bedroom place alone, so I find these numbers moot.
Also, rent for two bedroom places in STL go between $550-$800, and minimum wage should get you around $1100/month so I don’t see how these numbers are figured. In the small rural areas, minimum wage will get you an actual house to rent.
That being said, I do believe in society taking care of it’s people as long as those people try their best, and do what they can for the betterment of society. I hope the O-Bomb can stay in office for another term, and possible see USA head in a decent direction… Then again, I never bought into the “Change” and “Hope” bullshit.
The Last Couple Of Days
Can’t sleep at normal times. It started when I had to work all night due to a kid saying he’d kill himself. That kinda through off my schedule, and today I woke up at 9 PM. Super lame. I’m gonna eat, grab a shower, and isolate myself from my friends so I can grab a nap sometime tonight. Hopefully things will be back on track!
Work
Started at 6 PM and ended at 10 PM… I was then asked if I could stay on for another 2-3 hours due to a dumbass swallowing a screw to try and kill himself(he wanted to get transferred to a mental hospital because he was about to go home for good, but was worried he’d he start doing bad stuff at home). At 12:30 AM the doc told me and my supervisor that they didn’t see any screw on the X-Ray, but since he said he wanted to kill himself that he had to go to a MH. I then waited at the hospital with him until 5:15 AM, and was done with work by 6 AM when I got in my smoke break.
Today I really wish I had someone to cuddle with. Being in a somewhat open long distance thing is really sucking right now. Oh, btw, I’ve been in a somewhat open long distance thing fyi.
Work
Saw a tiny 11 year old break a 14 year olds nose after the older kid punched him. Blood everywhere, and it was worth.
Also, saw a kid who tries to assault staff and destroy property errday get cuffed by the cops. He said he was gonna try and take their guns, but when they showed up he didn’t say a thing.
I also remembered a parking ticket-turned littering fine I haven’t paid yet. Luckily I have until the 16th or so, but that would have sucked balls to forget.
Just glad that I’ll soon be getting paid that epic sub teaching money! haha.
